Partnering Authors
Part of our mission at Petals Tea Shop is creating connections, and this includes connecting authors and readers! Here are some of the talented authors that have built a supportive partnerships with our little tea shop to help our vision for the future come true.
The application form for our 2026 partnering author list will be open on September 16th and will close on November 3rd.
Stella Price
Bi-continental, Stella and Audra break all misconceptions about siblings. Writing as a team they have produced well over thirty novels under two names: Stella and Audra Price and S.A. Price as well as several novella's and short stories, and nary an argument has come from it.
On their off time from writing, Audra is a chemist artist and Stella is a graphic artist and web designer, as well as the convention director for the Literary Love Savannah convention. They both love animals and have several including snakes and a peacock.
Audra lives in Scotland with her husband and children, while Stella Lives in South Carolina with her dog and Poe and her husband.
Stella writes multiple genres under a variety of pen names.

Kennedy Sutton
Kennedy Sutton’s editor informed her that, with twelve published books, she can no longer call herself an emerging author. This seemed like a terrible falsehood considering how much Kennedy still wants to learn. Mostly preferring to have her adventures from her keyboard, Kennedy can often be found in her backyard where she watches her children play and becomes deeply invested in the lives of the birds, rabbits, and honeybees of Tennessee. She has a head full of stories across many genres, but when she wants to write something she knows, she puts her characters on tall ships and sends them out to sea. Emerging or established, she remains thrilled to share her stories with the world.

Cassie Newell
Cassie Newell is an award-winning fiction author (YA Contemporary Fantasy) and nonfiction author (Writer Fuel), podcaster, and graphic designer. Cassie is a certified fiction book coach, through Author Accelerator. She coaches writers through her Sassy Writing Coach platform and community with online courses and coaching services.
Cassie is a no-nonsense type of gal. She's got opinions, and she can get colorful. Cassie challenges the status quo for a reason - because individual goals don't fit in a one size fits all container.
Cassie is originally from Tennessee, where she gained the nickname Sassy Cassie from an early age. She is a nomad from various states and countries, currently calling home to sunny Florida with her family, where she cheers on her favorite hockey team, Tampa Bay Lightning.

S. Renea
Shannon Renea was born and raised in the tiny, one red light town of New Market, TN with her family and her fur-baby, Memphis. When she's not writing, you can find her taking countless photos of her son, as a dog obsessed twenty-something year old does and trying to provide a good life for him with a countless pile of toys and treats. Shannon grew up writing and has always had a passion for story-telling, which led to her getting a visual effects degree from East Tennessee State University, to bring her stories to life. After years of writing, Shannon is now pursuing her life long dream of being a published author, and she couldn't be happier to share her stories with her readers. Emily Golus
Emily Golus is an award-winning fantasy author with more than 20 years of professional writing experience. Golus aims to engage, inspire, and show how small acts of courage and love create meaningful change. Her books feature diverse cultures, authentic characters, and cinematic fantasy settings. Her first novel, Escape to Vindor, won the 2018 Selah Award for Young Adult Fiction, and her novella Crack the Stone won the 2024 Kudos Award for Fiction and was named a finalist in the 2024 Realm Awards. Golus lives in Greenville, S.C., with her husband, Mike, who is her greatest supporter. They have two active little boys and enjoy hiking, making Thai food, and exploring small towns in the Carolinas.

Amber Lewis
Amber D. Lewis is a highly combustible combination of caffeine, mismatched coffee mugs, and shiny things. In her spare time (and, quite frankly, when she’s supposed to be doing other things) she writes fantasy and other stories.
The Fire and Starlight Saga is a found family fantasy following the only twins born in their kingdom & the chaos & magic they unleash when they turn 18. The plot focuses on amazing fantasy elements like magic, political intrigue, battles, and adventure with low-spice romance subplots and favorite tropes that readers of all sorts enjoy. Allison Wells
Allison Wells is an award-winning author as well as a certified book coach and editor. She writes stories of hope and redemption. When she doesn't have her nose buried in a book, she is with her husband of 21 years and her four children. Allison's motto is "Life is Short, Eat the Oreos."

A note from Taylor:
There's nothing better than curling up with a good book and a nice cup of tea, except maybe writing a book with a nice cup of tea. Over the last few years I've found my voice as an author and there's nothing I love more than creating new characters and their stories. I have always loved tea, but when I found out Petals Tea Shop was doing book inspired blends I fell in love with the company. If you like morally grey romance where the MMC is obsessed with his woman then I might be the author for you. I have multiple books out now and many more on the way, there's a little something for everyone.

At Petals Tea Shop & Bookstore, we believe tea and stories are best when shared. Our Partnering Authors Program connects writers and readers in meaningful ways — giving independently published authors fresh opportunities to showcase their work while surrounding them with a supportive, book-loving community.
Partnering Authors Receive:
As a Partnering Author, you’ll enjoy:
Website Feature – A dedicated spotlight on our website with your photo, bio, book blurb(s), and links for readers to purchase your work.
Social Media Shoutouts – Regular promotion across our social channels to help new readers discover your books.
Bookstore Placement – Your books featured in our bookstore (front-facing when possible). We’ll begin with three donated copies, and if they sell well, we’ll begin ordering directly from you to keep them in stock.
Promotional Support – Your bookmarks, postcards, stickers, or other swag displayed alongside your books, helping readers connect with you beyond the page. We’ll also include your promotional materials as freebies in online orders, subscription boxes, book clubs, and more.

What We Ask From Our Authors:
Our program is built on mutual support and professional partnership. In return for these opportunities, we ask that Partnering Authors:
Donate three copies of your book for initial bookstore placement.
Provide promotional materials (bookmarks, postcards, stickers, ebooks, or similar) to help us share your work.
Display the badge on your website and/or social media to proudly share your partnership with us.
Engage with our community by participating in events, supporting fellow authors, and recommending Petals Tea Shop to your readers, friends, and family.
Maintain professionalism in all interactions with readers, Petals Tea Shop staff, and fellow authors — both in person and online.

How to Apply
Applications for the 2026 Partnering Authors Program open on September 16th, 2025. To apply, submit your application before November 3, 2025. Spots are limited, and applications will be reviewed carefully to ensure alignment with our shop and community. All accepted applicants will be notified by mind November.
